We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and password when you create an account. We also collect usage data such as exam attempts, scores, and performance analytics to provide you with personalized insights.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and improve the Service, personalize your learning experience, process payments, send transactional emails (welcome, password reset, purchase confirmation), and analyze usage patterns to improve our question bank and features.
3. Payment Information
Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers. We only retain transaction references (payment intent IDs) for record-keeping.
4. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a minimum of 12 rounds. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share data only with: Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email delivery), and as required by law.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and data, and export your exam history. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@examina.academy.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account data and exam history as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or billing purposes.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
